Shipping & Delivery
When will my order be shipped?
We ship orders at least once a week.
Orders placed before 4:00 PM will be included in the weekly shipping round. Orders after 4:00 PM may, if it coincides with the day of dispatch, be included in the next shipping round.
For orders above 40 items per customer, there may be a longer delivery time; you will be notified after placing your order.
What are the shipping costs?
Shipping within the Netherlands and Belgium is free. Other European countries pay €12 for shipping.
Can I track my order?
Yes, before the package is shipped, you will automatically receive a Track & Trace link. You can use this to track your order.
Where does ThermometerExpert deliver?
We currently deliver to the Netherlands and Belgium.
Can I pay by invoice or on credit?
Payment by invoice or on credit is possible through our partnership with Klarna and Billink. ThermometerExpert is not set up to handle this directly; Klarna and Billink can.
Please note when ordering for business (via Billink):
- Always include the company name in the order, so it can be placed in the company's name.
- The billing address must be the same as the delivery address.
- The delivery address must match the registered address in the Chamber of Commerce.
- There is currently a limit of €2,500 per order.
These requirements are necessary for Billink to prevent misuse. If you want to ship to a different address than the company address, you must use a different payment method.
Where can I find the invoice?
The invoice is included in the order confirmation. At the top of the order confirmation there is a link with the text 'Click here to download your PDF invoice'. Clicking it will open the PDF invoice.

The thermometers are manufactured in the United Kingdom (UK) by Electronics Temperature Instruments (ETI) Ltd.

Are the thermometers calibrated?
Yes, every thermometer is delivered with a traceable calibration certificate.
The supplier, ETI Ltd., is certified to ISO 9001:2015 for the design, manufacture and calibration of measuring instruments.
Are the thermometers ISO17025 calibrated?
No, the thermometers are not ISO17025 calibrated. Every thermometer is delivered with a traceable calibration certificate. The supplier, ETI Ltd., is certified to ISO 9001:2015 for the design, manufacture and calibration of measuring instruments.
If you require an ISO17025 calibration certificate due to your work as a BRL6010-certified company, you can have the thermometer recalibrated to meet this standard. This can be done at this calibration institute: https://www.cijborculo.nl/wp/.
How long is the calibration valid?
This depends on your situation. Typically, thermometers are recalibrated 12 months after calibration. Please refer to the enclosed certificate for the date of calibration.
For Legionella prevention, the calibration is valid for 12 months from the delivery date from ThermometerExpert. According to Annex J of the ISSO 55.1 standard, this is possible because the supplier has given permission and ThermometerExpert complies with the thermometer storage requirements. Can I have my thermometer recalibrated at ThermometerExpert?
No, we do not offer a recalibration service.
Returns & Warranty
What if my thermometer doesn't work properly?
The warranty period is 12 months. If there is an issue with your thermometer, please visit the return procedure page to see what you can do.
Can I return my product within 14 days?
This depends on the type of product.
Uncalibrated products:
Products that have not been calibrated can be returned within 14 days of receipt. Please see the return procedure page.
Calibrated products:
Products that have been calibrated cannot be returned. If a product cannot be returned, this will be stated in the product description.
This is because each thermometer is individually calibrated and the certificate is issued in the name of that specific device; therefore we cannot resell the product once it leaves our quality chain.
